Uniform Requirements
While you don’t have to own all of them, be sure when accepting a job that you have the appropriate dress for that particular job. And a note for those who are style-challenged: Black SOCKS go with black slacks… we notice the “little” things! The uniforms that our clients select most often are:
- Bistro Attire (for everyone unless otherwise specified): Our most standard uniform is black slacks, black belt, black socks and black rubber-soled shoes with a WHITE long sleeve button-down collared shirt and long solid black tie. (Some clients request for a BLACK VEST in addition to the Bistro uniform).
- Black Bistro: BLACK long sleeve button-down collared shirt, long solid black tie, solid black slacks, black belt, black socks and solid black shoes.
- Black or White Casual: Stated clearly you are wearing everything above except substitute with a nice plain black or white t-shirt in place of the white dress shirt and tie.
- Khaki/Polo: Some jobs require that staff arrive with a Khaki (colored) Pants instead of solid black and at some jobs the client may request a White Polo Shirt (short sleeve, collared, 3-buttons) with khaki pants.
- Tux Events: You are more marketable with your own tux which includes a tuxedo jacket with a long sleeve white tuxedo shirt, black bowtie, cummerbund, satin lapels and black vest (optional) along with black slacks, black belt, black socks and black rubber-soled shoes. We do rent out tuxedos to excellent employees as long as they are returned with a cleaners receipt.
- Half Tux: Occasionally a client wishes our servers to lose the jacket and wear only the tuxedo shirt, black bow-tie, cummerbund, solid black slacks, black belt, black socks and solid black shoes.
- Chef Attire: White Chef Coat, solid black or checkered chef pants with black non-slip kitchen safe shoes. Personal chef knives are a plus and may be required for some jobs.
And a SMILE is always your best feature!
